Hello, I've been around and into boats my entire life. Used them in pleasure and commercially. The boats out of the 1940's and 1950's are still my favorites. Recently came across what I consider to be the ultimate classic boat. She's called Pardon Me!
A John Hacker design. Built in New York in 1948. She's 48 feet long, dual cockpit. Powered by a single Packard 4M-2500 1500 hp V-12 engine. Top speed about 50 mph. Many unique features including roll up windows. Currently owned by the Classic Boat Museum in Clayton, New York.
