Dick you could have something going tomorrow if you wanted! Not that it was ready, I had the little Glaspar up to Reid harbor Saturday, it was rain and overcast. Sunday was better, took photos on the way home Oak bay and Mats Mats have to see how they came out.

John, You're dead on correct. If I drain the float bowls, pump in some fresh fuel, drop in the new battery, the Homelite would be ready in less than 2 hrs.

Actually less than an hour, put the battery in, primed, a blast of starting fluid and it's up and running after sitting two years!

          And a 500rpm idle

Thanks Kelly, but not much work. Engine was stored tilted so the carbs were drained and the two year old fuel is non-ethenol which is the only fuel I will run in it. Bit more expensive but worth it in the long run. This engine is the sweetest running of all I own.

Agreed, non-ethanol is best and all I use for boating power. Peace of mind.
