Got an overnight e-mail from Joe, whose volunteer-fireman pager went off at 10:30 last night (Wednesday) to let everyone know that the Hood Canal Bridge had just reopened...8 days ahead of the original construction schedule.
So if some of you boat collectors want to fetch projects you've purchased from me--or snag one of the freebies listed below in the Classified section--the coast is clear, and we're no longer in isolation over here on the Olympia Peninsula.
Three cheers for the construction crews, who worked 24/7 to get the job done early (thereby earning hefty bonuses all-around).
