Nice Buick ( bumper close to saltwater ) towing that classic with a Johnson motor. Oh and the ferry Olympic ! That's that lousy Mukilteo ramp. Chuck

Great to see the old Black Ball ferries.

We used to take them over to the Kitsap Peninsula on our way to Westport. This was back before freeways and the like. You had to drive the long way around, same for Hoods Canal where my grandparents lived.

Dad had a deal with the postmaster in Westport and we got a house in the dunes for two weeks every summer. We would go down to the "old" jetty with a garden rake and wade out to get crabs. Then boil them in sea water on a driftwood fire for lunch.

I suppose they've made that illegal now along with all the other "good stuff" we used to be able to do.

        Very Cool Site Chuck!

Rosario, shortest time in service. Is there some significance there Chuck?
