  • Just In Time !

"California Girl " is just about done ! All that is left to do is hook up the controls, steering (Wed ) , mount the VHF portable radio bracket, do a little touch up painting ( yes the control box will be painted ) ,striping ( Today ) and wait for the spare tire cover that will be here Wed. Should have her completed this Thursday for the LaConner Boat Show that's coming up next weekend 15-16th. Looks like the weather will be good for the show as i don't want her to get wet ! This has been a knocked out drag out almost a one year project ! Will use her for meets on the smaller lakes ( Alder, Mayfield, Mason, Baker, etc ) and use Dorsett Farallon " Chippewa " for bigger lakes and out on Puget Sound. The way i came up with the Name " California Girl " was from the Beach Boys song " California Girls " that was popular at that time and besides she was manufacture at the Glasspar factory in California. She looks great Chuck! Sure glad you're going to cover that spare tire, it just wouldn't do to take her out in public with that showing ...

C, I still have some white & gold material left over if you decide to make a steering wheel cover! Course it would take another life time to do! Thanks 4 the ph. message, Diana loved it, I have it saved...............................L
