  • 59 GlassCraft almost complete

I'm just about finished with all of the cosmetics on my 59 GlassCraft Imperial. I had some trouble with the paint that I applied. "Top Secret" was the only place that I could find to special mix the original tahiti coral that was on first on the boat. I sprayed it on and it went on as advertised, unfortunatley, it hasn't set all that well. I will have to do it over next year, but until then, I have put everything back on. About the only thing I have to do now, is to get the engine running. 67 Evinrude Starflite.

My goal is to have it and my 64 Johnson in the opening day parade in Seattle?

    Here are some pictures.

Looks great! Those fins are awesome. Should scoot pretty good with that power. I look forward to seeing it on opening day.

Any luck finding 1959 Glass Craft parts?

Hi Jim, I'm also looking at a 1959 Glass Craft Crown Imperial that needs a few things. Have you located any parts for yours? And does anyone know of a restored or complete boat for sale? Thanks! Brian
