  • Home made jack plate and riser

    Here is a jack plate and riser I made for a friends G3 so we could put on a Bear Cat 55.
    It's made out of alumimum 2in angle. Cost less then a $100 to make. Thats the alumimum and cuting and welding. Tried the motor on it and mounts up great.
    The masurements are for this motor but you could make one like it for any motor

      Very nice! That's the kind of homemade engineering and excecution I love to see! Been thinking of fabbing something like it for quite some time. Good job guys!

        we got a michaine shop to cut the slots in the side pieces and do the welding and bought the alumimum on line. The place on line sells it any leanth you want from 1in on. Made this with 3 4foot peices and had some left over.
        Sure was cheeper than buying one and more fun. I like to see my ideas come togather.
