My First Restoration Complete
Hey guys. Im Mike from the Golden State Glassics board. Billr Posted a link to this board and I think its great. I see a few names I know. I live in So Cal about 75 miles east of Los Angeles In San Bernadino County. I plan on restoring my g3 this winter and decited to do a practice run on a sea swirl p14 that I had for almost 10 years. I have never had it on the water Yeat but now that I did a full deck off resto, raised the transom from 15" to 21.5" and lost the old 1973 25hp evinrude and installed a new 1973 50hp long shaft this boat should be fun. I took houndreds of pics and A few youtube clips. I learned so much along the way.
I have 5 boats, nothing fancy. The p14 I just restored Will have its Maiden Voyage Today or before wednesday. You gotta check it out. I did it all my self on a budget and in less then 3 months. Today is day 90. I need to install 2 latches on the splashwell cover that hides and locks in the gas tanks and battery.
