Question came up when I was calibrating the wind meter on my weather sensor.
Do you want your wind meter to read headings as a function a true North or magnetic North?
If you have a compass you can determine true North by adding the local declination (It can be positive or negative depending on your location.)
To do that you need to refer to the below enclosed map:
(It turns out that the local declination is approximately +11°. You add this to local magnetic North heading to get the actual true North locally.)
