Recently picked up an interesting boat. A Dorsett all aluminum cabin boat about 18". I am a member of the AOMC and have not had a boat old enough or interesting enough to feel like I could do their wet meets, so when I saw this I said "that's the one". Problem is we seldom see these boats down here. It is all aluminum (except for flooring and I am thinking of replacing that with aluminum sheet), not even any wood in the transom which is also all aluminum. I cannot find any info on this boat and the title says it is a Dorsett. My web searches so far have been pretty much fruitless. I see several glass Dorsetts, but none all aluminum. I would really appreciate whatever information any of you may have or maybe a link to other sites that might discuss them. Thanks in advance. Here is a picture. I just like the look.
