Framework
for under the tanks.
This
is both tanks setting in place. If I remember right, each tank holds
24 gallons of fuel for longer range cruising the Puget Sound

Braces
to the hull for support. The tank will nest right under the seating. |

Frames
ready to fiberglass in.

Tank
cover and seat base being created. |
I
am installing sliding and swiveling seat brackets. |

Testing
the seating to assure I had the hight figured out properly. Each cockpit
area is fit to its captains.
All
seems like its going to work out just fine. All of this stuff has to
come out of the boat to be sealed and sanded ready for paint. |
The
front area of the port and starboard sides will have a step up with
storage under them.
This
boat will have dual batteries stored up under front steps.
Across
the front of the step, the flooring has to follow the curve of the hull,
so, a pattern is made up for this as well.
All
the step needs now is a brace and door to lift up.
A
hollow step plate will be created to hide the wiring as it cross's
in front of the cabin bulkhead.
This
will work out just fine. Plenty of new storage area, seating at the
proper hight for good visibility.
