Cockpit floor patch

Well... the best laid plans.... I have no time to do the big floor rip-out this season without giving up so much water time. So to cover the hole, I made a "floor mat" for the cabin entrance area. Its made of ash and is quite hard. It is screwed to the stringers with stainless steel screws and decorative cupped washers. Should do the trick until I do the job correctly!

Bob, Nice varnish job. If you place black rubber on top of the new wood, then it will look like you ment it to be a a mat to wipe your feet before entering the cabin. Chuck
