It was another great boating event with weather providing periods of sun and a nice crisp air. The river was in great shape, with slow current making it enjoyable to navigate for all boats attending. We used one of many sandy beaches to stop for lunch that gave us a chance to exchange boat stories. It's a good thing Gordon's boat wasn't any bigger or he would have been bringing Cheryl's new pet home....a small Hereford that came down for a drink! Thanks to the two of them for organizing our day and "kudos" go to John Nelson who came all the way from port Gamble to join us (round trip by boat). We had a great time. Missed all of you who weren't able to attend.

Actually that is Cheryl's boat. We glance over and check it out whenever we are westbound on the trestle. It's angle changes with the tide. Kind of a water level guage!
