The ACBS and the Vintage Hydroplane Museum are hosting a joint event this coming weekend at Lake Chelan called "Mahagony & Merlot". The Hydro Museum will have several of the Unlimited boats on hand making runs including the Miss Wahoo, Miss Thriftway, Bardahl, and others. In between their runs, there will be vintage limited boats, runabouts, and even a sanctioned RC boat race. Should be a fun weekend if you happen to be in the area.

Check out the Woody Boater website for pictures and text from this great event. Just a thought, but as the 2011 calender is starting to firm up, the Chelan event from this year may want to coincide with this event next year. This time of year, there is no shortage of dock space and the Lake is usually still fairly flat.
