Huh,
seems that the door feels weak too. Better check into this.

I
found that the right rear has been replaced at one time. This is good
but the front sure isn't going to last very long looking like this.
I
sure as hell don't want to be driving down the road and and have the
body fall down on the road.
Got
to fix this too ;-)

|
|
Hmm...This
sure won't work. |
Crap,
Look at this. Not looken good here, this needs fixed too. |
|
This
was not easy to get out. What did they do, build the RV around the step,
Wow. Lots of sheet metal on the back and sides of this. |

Looks
as the top part is ok, but I am here so I may as well rip it all off
and do it right.
I even rebuilt the battery box. |
|
Heard
the expression, No Step, Har.
You
could stand on the ground and close the door, If I it was still on ;-) |
|
|
|
There.
That will work, Good and Solid with a new door frame too. That batter
box is sure not going anywhere soon.
Good
old Gorilla Glue. |
|
Now
I can Jump on this sucker, All 218 lbs and it doesn't move. I think
this will work.
(Yes,
thats right, 218lbs)

|
|
Well
now. The whole Right side is now done, solid as a rock, sealed, undercoated,
yep, I am ready to go back and work on the rear end |
|
Boy,
that was dumb. It seems as there is a little lip at the entrance of
the door. Just something for me to trip on it seems. Hey, I can build
a little Hidey box and put on the first step.
Now,
what can I hide under it ;-) |
